Authorities have advised the public to be considerate of the elephants during their stay in the city for the Dasara festivities. The countdown to Dasara has begun in Mysuru, and rehearsals for the Jamboo Savaari procession have started. The procession will cover a five-kilometre route, starting at the palace and ending at Bannimantap grounds. The elephants are getting used to the city noise twice a day, with crowds gathering to see them, especially led by the Howdah elephant, Abhimanyu. Guidelines include following instructions, maintaining distance, not obstructing the elephants' path, and refraining from taking photos directly in front of them while moving. The Jamboo Savaari is the grand procession held on Vijayadashami, showcasing elephants, floats, and cultural performances.
